Fumi Coffee Shanghai
215 Fumin road
Stylish Fumi Coffee Shanghai on tree lined Fumin road in the former French concession has opened in 2016 and since then is one of my favorite coffee spots in Shanghai. The modern interior has been designed by Alberto Caiola, who did also the design for Botanist, Flask&The Press as well as Judy’s flower shop down at Yanqing road. Standing out is the white brick wall with attached moka coffee pots in different sizes. Another nice feature is the foldable window with seats before and behind.
In addition to their own house blend (mix of beans from Columbia & Brazil) they have different single origins they use fot the classic coffees and specialties. Their Fumi signatures include a bottled bubbly nitro coffee as well as coffee inspired drinks such as the coconut cold brew (mix of coffee and coconut juice) or snow white mocha (a white chocolate strawberry mocha). In case you are uncertain of what to get, you can go for the tasting combo set (a combination of espresso, piccolo latte and drip coffee) served on a wooden tray. As for food they offer a selection of cakes and sandwiches to go along with coffee.
No matter whether you like traditional coffe or want to try their Fumi signatures, Fumi Coffee is a good place to spend an afternoon.
They just opened a second store in the Shanghai World Financial Center in Pudong.
